Urgent and Emergent Care Services

MEA affiliated ED Groups have developed relationships with its partner hospitals in planning, development, and operation of Urgent Care (daytime hours) and Emergent Care Centers (24 hours). National statistics show Emergency Department overcrowding is becoming commonplace, and patient satisfaction is suffering. We have found that Urgent and Emergent Care Centers may be part of the solution. These centers provide communities with rapid access to medical services. They provide hospitals with strategic expansion of service areas, and with the opportunity to develop other product lines such as physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and primary care. MEA, through its affiliate entities, currently staffs a number of Urgent and Emergent Care Centers. They have been so successful for our hospitals that several more are in the planning stages.
