MEA and its affiliates
have extensive experience in Performance Improvement in Emergency
Medicine. We have created model Performance Improvement Programs
at all the Hospitals, Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine
Programs with which our affiliated entities contract to provide
services.
We work with Emergency
Medical Staffs to create outstanding Performance Improvement
Programs. We have participated
in
many JCAHO site surveys, and have become leaders in Performance
Improvement in all of the MEA affiliated entity client Hospitals.
MEA implements
a quality and risk evaluation tool in all of affiliated emergency
departments. We evaluate over 150 clinical
indicators each quarter. This review is the most extensive
and intense Performance Improvement Program you will see
in any Emergency Program in the country.
