The mission of all MEA affiliated entities is to provide the highest quality emergency physicians
to the MEA affiliated entity hospital partners, and to develop physicians in
leadership roles in the MEA affiliated entity hospitals and in the MEA affiliated entity medical specialty.
We stress these goals in the hiring and orientation process,
and dedicate significant resources to mentoring and leadership
development. We take pride in the fact that many of the MEA affiliated entity
physicians serve the MEA affiliated entity hospitals in medical staff leadership
and through participation in medical and administrative
committees, community outreach, and in hospital strategic
development. Many of the MEA affiliated entity physicians serve in leadership
roles in the MEA affiliated entity state and national specialty organizations.
