MEA and its affiliates have a proven track record of attracting highly qualified emergency specialists. It is our mission to maintain physician well being by assisting in leadership and career development, providing a supportive administrative structure, and creating a collegial and cohesive partnership with providers.

MEA offers outstanding internal educational programs. MEA affiliated physicians are highly educated in EMTALA related issues, risk management, quality and patient safety. Physicians are attracted to our organization because we demand excellence. We require emergency medicine board certification or eligibility. We encourage the use of Allied Health Professionals to facilitate patient care in our affiliated emergency departments.

We work with Emergency Physicians to help build credentials. Personal and professional development is a high priority. Our programs are designed to develop our physicians into leaders in the hospital, in the community, and in Emergency Medicine.
